7/31/02 Got my bots ready for SA still wrestling withn the heavyweight, got most of the electronics working though. Alex Grant, from team screwed, and I are currently working on thirty pond walker using the body from Jerome Miles' bot Hyper active24 I'll be adding a bage I refer to us as team Miracle robotics.
7/18/02 Once again it's been over a month since the last post. Need to get more armor for Orlok. Most of the work has been preperation For Southern Assault which is about a month and a half away. We'll be entering Doomsday Device and Blood Sucker2.
We've already registered and have made hotel reservations. I'll post an event report
6/16/02 Been a month since our last update, We got the bot all wired now the weapon and drive both work. All we gotta do is armor Orlok up and we'll be done. Though we all agree that the lawnmower blade should be replaced the lack of weight and funs as presented an issue. Still trying to talk my dad into uping the volts to 36 v. with no luck I added a overvolting magmotor tutorial on the tips and tricks page, I got it from robotbooks.com.

5/11/02 Well we've gotten alot done and alot to do to get orlok working. 1)We've got to fix the motor situation, don't ask,2)We got to rewire an led to the solenoid that controls the magmotor,3)We've been discussing switching the lawnmower blade,for testing purposes, with a 3/8' titanium balde 4)I'm still trying to convince my dad we should go up to 36v on the weapon motor, my point being that 2 pounds of batteries would increase are power by over 100%
4/12/02 Well we've decided to go with a spinning hardened steel blade for Orlok's weapon oh yeah and check out robot combat.com's database I got all my bot's registered
4/8/02 We're still working on Orlok's weapon and it's looking like it's going to be a horrizontal spinning disk. When the servos arrive I can begin building Blood Sucker2 now with Clamping jaws and the linear actuator for the 30lber should be here in about a week oh yeah and check this out http://forums.delphiforums.com/antweights/start
4/3/02 Well not that much has happened really, we decided we didn't have the weight for a normal drum so we decided to go to a saw drum. we;ve armored up the bottom and are getting ready to armor up the sides. I've ordered a linear actuator from Team Scavenger and ordered some servos from servocity these are for two different robots incase you were wondering
